Perry Gathings, partner
director of business development

As Director of Business Development, Perry Gathings is responsible for buyer outreach, ongoing buyer relations and developing strategic partnerships to position and strengthen our brand.

Prior to SourceHorizon, Perry spent more than 30 years working in the custom manufacturing and technology sectors.  He has held key business development roles at private equity-backed multi-unit manufacturing groups, including V.P. of Business Development for Precinmac Group and Sales Manager for ZP Enterprises, LLC.

An entrepreneur at heart, Perry was also Co-Founder and CEO of, the largest online marketplace focused on U.S. custom manufacturing at that time. In addition, he developed and managed statewide programs for the North Carolina Military Business Center and the North Carolina Aerospace Alliance. Both programs focused on helping North Carolina machine shops to win more Defense contracts. 

Perry studied Business Administration at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina.

Rick Gilmore, Partner
Director of Supplier Development

Rick Gilmore is SourceHorizon's Director of Supplier Development. In that role, he is responsible for identifying and qualifying new suppliers for our network and managing ongoing supplier relationships. 

Prior to SourceHorizon, Rick spent more than 30 years working in the private sector with major defense contractors including: Western Electric, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, General Dynamics, Sigcom and the North Carolina Military Business Center.

Rick graduated with a BS in Business Administration from East Carolina University and has a Masters in Project Management from George Washington University.
